The Rumored Sony Xperia E5 Specification Discussed

Another Budget Smartphone of Sony Unveiled

Sony has focused on producing smartphones that lead with everyday performance and lean on low-cost side. Many customers have been “teased” and feeling confused about Sony’s moves in the past few years, but loyal fans would always welcome a new handset of Sony. This time around, what’s your thoughts on the rumored Sony Xperia E5 specification?

Sony Mobile has finally taken the wraps off its Xperia E5, although it had actually introduced the smartphone much earlier on its social media channels. Sony introduced its new member of E line up on Twitter, saying, “Meet Xperia E5, your new reliable assistant, available around the clock.” On its Facebook page, the mobile company labeled it as “eager, effortless and easy on the eye.” Like a good marketing the company would do, Sony also posted about the Xperia X5 on its instagram with lines: “Fudd-free. Intellegent. Impressive. That’s what Xperia E5 is saying How about you?” Well, let’s take a peek at the Sony Xperia E5 specification to see if we agree with Sony.

Sony Xperia E5 is a 5.0 inch smartphone that has a touchscreen display and a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. Like Sony said, the phone is really easy on the eye, all thanks to its sleek design. We can see that the smartphone comes with pleasingly curved edges, making it comfortable to grip. It may not have the Sony’s trademark of stand-out power button and sexy edge-to-edge display, but the handset is still beautiful in its own way.

The appearance of Xperia can compete with its rivals on the market, but what about the Sony Xperia E5 specification? Apparently, there is nothing amazing about this new handset of Sony. Xperia E5 runs on a quad-core Mediatek MT6735 processor with 1.5GB of RAM and packs a 16GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 200GB with a microSD card. Under the hood, lies Android 6 and two cameras. The primary camera is a 13 megapixel one, and the front-facing camera is a 5 megapixel one. Xperia E5 is a single SIM (GSM) handset which accepts a Nano-SIM. It has the standard connectivity options and sensors, and it is powered by a 2700mAh non removable battery.

The Sony Xperia E5 specification may not the best among its competition, but the handset still packs some interesting features that work well enough for everyday performance smartphone.
