Samsung’s Newest 2-in-1 Laptop Hybrid Hits the Market at $800
The Korean tech giant has once again unveiled a new laptop hybrid that goes by the name Notebook 7 Spin. The 2-in-1 convertible laptop comes in two sizes, 13.3 inch and 15.6 inch display versions, which each weighs in at 3.9 and 5 pounds respectively. As the name suggest, Samsung’s newest notebook display can completely rotate until the back, 360 degree. It can be used in tablet mode or in tent mode, depending on what’s convenient for you for watching movies. Yes, Samsung Notebook 7 Spin is particularly aimed at those multimedia enthusiasts, since the device comes with features very appealing to gamers, movie viewers and web surfers.
Brought to us by Samsung teaming up with Best Buy, Notebook 7 Spin has a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and an additional Video HDR mode. With it, you can watch videos with even sharper images on the touchsreen display. There is also an auto backlit keyboard to make it easier when typing in low light. Samsung Notebook 7 Spin runs on Windows 10 which can be configured to the new sixth generation processor of Intel Core i5 or i7. The 13.3 inch version of the notebook is powered by the sicth generation Intel Core i5 processor, and it comes with 8 GB of memory. The 15.6 inch version is powered by the sixth generation Intel core i7, and it comes with either 12 GB or 16 GB of memory. All of the models has 1 TB of hard drive storage.
Samsung Notebook 7 Spin is said to be a quick charging laptop hybrid. It is able to last up to 2 hours with just 20 minutes of charging. More specifically, the smaller model will take 100 minutes until it is fully-charged while the larger models can achieve a full charge only after 90 minutes of charging, according to the manufacturer. Furthermore, Notebook 7 Spin can work with an SSD to reduce load times. Another option is by upgrading the device’s RAM—either of which can boost the performance of the notebook. Notebook 7 Spin enters the market at $800.
