E3 2016 Games and Consoles Revealed at the Show

Which E3 2016 Games or Consoles Excite You the Most?

It has been a few days after the biggest annual video game conference and show took place at the Los Angeles Convention Center. We have gone back to reality—doing whatever real job we each have—but the euphoria of E3 2016 still lingers. How can it not? This year’s E3 might have been a little more empty than previous years, but it was still one kickass event that quenched out thirst of electronic entertainment. So, here’s a brief overlook on E3 2016 games and consoles revealed at the expo.

Nintendo: The Legend of Zelda

Nintendo decided to dedicate its E3 2016 stand to showing The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The company unveiled a gameplay trailer of the post-Skyrim world Zelda game that features voice acting, much to our surprise. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is due to be released in 2017, hopefully not too long after the release of Nintendo NX version in March next year.

Playstation: God of War, Days Gone, Death Stranding

This year, Playstation focused on E3 2016 games instead of hardware. The main showcase introduced the new God of War that merges hardcore combat with a heartfelt story. The new Days Gone, which features a biker roamming an apocalyptic world filled with zombie, was also introduced at the expo. There was a hardware push from Sony about the Playstation VR. They announced that Playstation VR is due on 13 October, and it will launch at $399. Unfortunately, that was it from the hardware update from Sony.

Xbox: Final Fantasy 15, Forza Horizon 3, Gears of War 4, Project Scorpio

On the E3 2016 games front, Microsoft showcased the new version of a couple games. We witnessed plenty of cross-platform action in the new levels of Final Fantasy 15, Forza Horizon 3 and Gears of War 4—not to mention it was in some slick HDR graphics. The giant tech company also announced the Xbox One S, a smaller version of the currrent model that packs higher-end tech. However, the highlight was something Microsoft called as Project Scorpio. It turned out that Microsoft is currently developing a new console, and the Project Scorpio will launch on Christmas 2017.

So, among those E3 2016 games and consoles that seems to shed our time and bring joy—which one excites you the most, my fellow gamers?
